Moss (2018)

Moss 8.4/10 When Playing 3D games like Mario 64 or any third-person shooter nowadays and especially platforming games sometimes I end up thinking to myself that games like these need depth because I have no perspective on how far a jump has to be, with this game some of my theory goes to prove itself and playing it just makes me crave for more 3D platforming games for VR. Hollow Knight (2017)

Hollow Knight 9.8/10 The perfect Game. This game is perfect story, the way to tell it, color theory, soundtrack and subtle ambience sounds and more. This game is not an easy entry but as said High commitment high payoff. Developed by:  Deep Silver Volition

Yume Nikki (2004)

Yume Niki 8.9/10 This game being unsettling is an understatement, the mood, music and designs are an art of themself but convine they deliver an experience I have to yet found in other game. Developed by:  Kikiyama

Psychonauts (2005)

Image
Psychonauts 8.2 /10 The moment I started plating this game I felt like playing a new Mario 64 and kept going and it might not have aged as well but the ingenuity and creativity in this games speak loud Developed by:  Double Fine

Borderlands (2009)

Borderlands 8.4/10 This game was so charming and had so much to tell and so many innovative elements that I was drawn rapidly. Developed by:  GearBox Software

Red Faction: Guerilla

Image
Red Faction: Guerilla  8.8/10 The An amazing hidden Gem that still resonates with today´s games. The way to approach mission is just give you an objective and accomplishing it as you like, strategy, a shooting or total destruction of the environment, it did not force you to follow an specific way like GTA 5 and RDR2 does but instead give you the tools and the task. Developed by:  Deep Silver Volition

Tomb Raider (2013)

Image
Tomb Raider 8.0/10 The Indiana Jones of games, this dark remake of the characters is amazing and the team behind is just interesting. Developed by:  Crystal Dyanamic

The Talos Principle (2014)

Image
The Talos Principle 8.5/10 This game has had the effect in my life more than any movie or any piece of art has had in m y life having me dread for years, truly is a game that broke me. The game tells philosophical questions with a story and concept that are flawless. the gameplay makes sense in the context and the way to tell the story is clever but sometimes overwhelming g with text.  Developed by:  CroTeam

The Walking Dead (2012)

Image
The Walking Dead 8.7/10 The Classic tittle from TellTale which defined the direction for their next experiences. A must try for anyone who like the series and a lesson on storytelling. Developed by:  TellTale Games

The Wolf Among Us (2013)

Image
The Wolf Among Us 9.2/10 This game is more of a interactive experience with a comic neon look that drag eyes and with performances from actors that come just in the right tone and what also carries the game is the soundtrack From Emerson-Johnson which might be his best work. The manner to adapt the story from the source is one of the best in art I have seen using the medium to its advantage. Developed by:  TellTale Games

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019)

Image
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order 7.4/10 This Star wars game has so much in favor to be a big one but it fell on so many holes. Everything about it in papers works, soundtrack ,acting, colors, design of clothes and environments but I say the more you know what you are the better you can perform in art and this game does not know it is a game, it uses mostly cutscenes to tell a story which can become tiring, you have the controller to lose it again and see characters talk and talk while you just leave the controller on the side and that applies to the animations when Cal goes to narrow crevices that waste more time than they deserve, the design is inconsistent to what is told also with puzzles that make solve them in stupid ways instead of out of the box thinking and literary creates invisible walls to stop you from that. The combat is a dark souls and it works here because dying is an element acknowledged in the game itself but here just feels like nothing, bosses are designed to get you

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014)

Image
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor 8.2/10 This game is a pack of mixed feelings, for one part you have an amazing game where exploration is amazing and the story is good, the mechanics are fresh and innovative and in the other you have a a game that rapidly becomes a movie and takes away your controller with cutscenes that are the only way the story is being told.  Developed by:  Monolith Productions
