This game was designed for VR and did not even know it.
The atmosphere, sound, story, and mechanics are just so fit for this medium.
The game is not supported on a pillar of screamers, screamers are rarely seen but what gets you is the expectation of one, the anxiety to be scared, to see what is behind that door, and all that mixed with physical spaces that transmute times to be a completely different sight from seconds prior mimicking what schizophrenia and also helps the narrative.
